I just recently fixed this dish for my own family as well as an extra one to take to a friend.
What makes this meal nice is that it is a very freezer friendly meal. So if you happen to find that you have enough to double the recipe, make another one and place it in the freezer. You will be happy you did on a hectic day.? ENJOY!
4 Skinless, boneless Chicken Breast; cut into pieces.
1 (10.5 oz.) Can of Cream of Chicken Soup
1/2 C. Milk
1 tsp. Pepper
8 Slices of Swiss Cheese
8 Slices of Deli Ham
1 C. Panko Bread Crumbs
1 C. Seasoned Bread Crumbs
4 TBSP. Melted Butter
Preheat oven to 375 degree’s.
In a lightly sprayed 9×9 pan place the cut up chicken.
Mix together the soup, milk and pepper. Pour over the chicken.
Then layer the sliced cheese over soup mixture.
Next layer the deli ham on top of the cheese.
In a large baggie mix together both types of bread crumbs. Then sprinkle over the ham.
Last, pour melted butter over the bread crumbs.
Bake for 45 minutes. Serves 4
*If freezing, seal tightly with foil. Cook frozen @ 400 degree’s for 1 1/2 hrs.
Can be frozen up to 3 weeks.
