I am one woman who likes to eat a good steak! I know, I know, some don’t count a chicken fried steak as a “real” steak. I DO! It is full of flavor and it it very filling. And to be honest with you, I don’t think there is a man out there that would turn down this steak.
Begin with beating 2 eggs in 1/2 C. Milk, set aside.
In a separate dish combine together:
3 C. flour
1/2 tsp. Curry Powder
1/2 tsp. Garlic Salt
1/2 tsp. Onion Powder
1 tsp. Season Salt
1 tsp. Pepper
Stir until well blended.
Now take your cubed steak and dip it into the egg wash.
Then next into the flour, coating both sides well.
Repeat. Doing this to all (4) cubed steaks.
In a large sized skillet pour 1/2-3/4 C. canola oil. Heat to med.
I cook two steaks at a time. Cook 2 1/2 minutes on each side.
Drain on a paper towel, keep warm until ready to serve.
