Lark’s Recipe of the Week: Snickerdoodle Blondies

If you like Snickerdoodle Cookies.
And you like chewy Brownies.
You will LOVE these! It is a perfect pairing of the two.
Cake-like and very moist.? Ever since I found this recipe, I have made it a family favorite.

Sift together:

2 2/3 C. Flour
2 tsp. Baking Powder
1/2 tsp. Salt
1/2 tsp. Cinnamon

In a sauce pan melt on low heat:

2 C. Brown sugar
1 C. Butter

When smooth remove from heat & beat in:
2 Egg’s
1 tsp. Vanilla

Mix both together and beat for 2 minutes.

Preheat oven to 350

Spread batter (will be thick like a brownie batter) into a greased 9×13 pan.
Last mix together 4-6 TBSP. Sugar with 2 tsp. Cinnamon. Then Sprinkle over the batter.

Bake for 23-28 minutes.
Cut into bars with a sharp knife while still warm.

    I love these! They really do taste like snicker doodles…and so soft. Lark, I really like how you use raw ingredients. No cake from a box!
