His expertise and the community’s need were just a perfect fit.
His first client was not obtained through any direct effort, but through word of mouth. As more requests for computer help began to trickle in, Scoville soon realized that many residents, fed up with dialing 1-800 numbers, had a need for a local computer consultant.
Seven years later, Scoville estimates he has been to over 350 homes in Lincoln County, providing mainly computer repair services, as well as custom computer building and recycling.
Having always been fascinated with the mechanical aspects of computers, he obtained a two-year degree in computer integrated electronics and has been involved in computer-related work throughout his career.
Scoville specifically takes satisfaction from solving problems for the customer.
“That’s one of the aspects I really enjoy,” he said and later added, “I’m interested in helping the customer get their money’s worth.”
He also stressed the importance of educating customers about their computers in order to help them make the best decisions they can.
Scoville’s services are available to all communities in the county for both residential and business customers.
You can contact him at (702) 378-9642.
