The Knotty Pine Restaurant & Lounge is a Caliente destination for good food and fun.
Open every day of the year, the lounge hosts a DJ on the weekend, race events, birthdays, football nights, Wii bowling tournaments, and even weddings, according to manager Shawna Drew.
The restaurant offers good ol’ fashion country cooking with a large menu and generous helpings.
The business is owned by Bud Sanders who, according to Drew, is a huge supporter for the community, especially the kids.
With any fundraiser, “everyone knows to come talk to bud,” she said.
Full of energy, Drew said she enjoys catering to the wide variety of folks that come visit the Knotty Pine.
“I love my job,” she said.
