Panaca turned on the old country charm Friday night with their Christmas tree lighting. Caroling and treats and visiting with friends and neighbors were the highlights of the evening. Grade school children made ornaments for the tree, which were judged and prizes were handed out at the ceremony. Kids were excited to see their artwork hanging up as part of the tree?s decorations.

The tree standing outside the post office in Panaca is a beautiful sight, and right on?down town?Main Street – ?convenient for us all to enjoy.
