One thing you’ll notice if you haven’t been to Alamo for a couple years is that the RV Park on Broadway Street is a lot busier than in the past.
The park was purchased a couple years back by brothers Kyle and Kolby Pulsipher who immediately went to work on the new Alamo RV Park, cleaning up the facility and preparing it to accommodate dozens of RVs.
The Pulsiphers, originally from Moapa Valley, know the area well and saw a fun project with a lot of potential, particularly as plans materialized for construction on a major powerline nearby. But even in the months before construction workers arrived, the RV Park accommodated more travelers than expected.
“We were pleasantly surprised on the amount of people that stop here,” Kyle Pulsipher said.
The park offers free wireless Internet, shower and restroom facilities, washer/dryer, and vending machines. There are also mobile home rentals on the property.
Plans are to market the park heavily to snowbirds and others who travel up and down the Highway 93 corridor.
