The Lincoln County Record was established in 1870. Currently, the office resides in Caliente. We circulate 2,000 papers on a weekly basis serving all of Lincoln County, and many other relatives and out of the area visitors.
Lincoln County Record was recently acquired by Battle Born Media, a media group interested in preserving our rural community heritage, and just switched to a broadsheet format to include more local news, bigger type and bigger ads.
Paper delivery has switched from Thursdays to Fridays. If you want to receive your paper earlier, you can visit any of our local distributors: R Place, Great Basin Foods, Alamo Truck Stop, Windmill Ridge, Jerry’s Sinclair, Shamrock Pub, Knotty Pine, Meadow Valley Pharmacy, Pioneer Pizza, Panaca Market, McCrosky’s Y Service, Tillie’s, Miner’s Market, A&B Service, Overland Hotel, Silver Cafe and Nevada Club.
