Scoops

June 11, 2012 by jjewett

It has always been co-owner Ellecia Sloane?s dream to open an ice-cream parlor.? Now, for her and her husband, Dominique, and their family, that dream has finally come true.? Located on Broadway Street in Alamo, Scoops is a new business that will cater to Lincoln County?s ?sweet tooth? and is sure to bring out the kid in all of us.

If it has anything to do with ice cream, you?ll find it on the menu at Scoops.? Sundaes, banana splits, milk shakes, malts and made to order sandwiches, salads and wraps are all included along with fun and games.? Scoops also plans to host weekly tournament nights with ping pong, backgammon, checkers, darts, chess, horseshoes and karaoke.

Scoops is a community built business that is all about community.? Even before they have opened their doors, the family business has donated to the Pahranagat Valley High School Grad Night and the Pahranagat Valley Elementary program.? They are also offering all 2012 Lincoln County graduating seniors a free scoop when they bring in their tassel.? Look for their coupons in the Lincoln County Record.
