Today in Lincoln County – September 20, 2012

Busy day today.

The University of Nevada Cooperative Extension is holding a Financial Planning/Careers session at Lincoln County High School from 11:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.

The LCHS Cross County Team is headed to Virgin Valley. ?The meet starts at ?4:30 p.m.

Meanwhile, the Pahranagat Valley High School volleyball team plays Moapa Valley High School in Overton at 5:30 p.m.

The Lincoln County Fair and Recreation Board Meeting is tonight at 5 p.m. at the Ambulance Barn in Alamo. ?Possible Action items include a Panaca Town annual request for funds of up to $4,500, an Alamo High School Rodeo Club annual request of up to $8,000, putting air conditioning and heating in the Lincoln County Fair Grounds building, and a debriefing on the recently completed Lincoln County Fair.

Finally, the City of Caliente will be holding it’s council meeting at 6 p.m. at Caliente City Hall.

    Since the Lincoln County Record is no longer available on the internet, those of us that have used it to follow Lincoln County, though living in other locations, now use this site for our only information. Thank you, thank you, thank you for the efforts you make on our behalf.
