Pioche 4-H Shooting Sports Club meets at 10:00 a.m. Meanwhile, Alamo 4-H Shooting Sports Club is meeting at 3 p.m.

The Lincoln County High School volleyball team takes on White Pine at 3 p.m. in Ely.

Tonight, the Pahranagat Valley FFA Chapter is having “Carlos Night” at Carlos Restaurant in Alamo. This goes from 9 to 5 p.m. All tips from the night will go towards the FFA Chapter, helping members pay for their Nationals trip. There will also be a raffle for a Remington shotgun. Dinner specials include Steak and Shrimp or barbecue ribs. Reservations are recommended. Call the restaurant at 725-3909 to make reservations.

Finally, the Pahranagat Valley Wildlife Refuge is hosting “Let’s Explore After Dark”. People of all ages are invited to study nocturnal animals. Refuge naturalists will assist participants as they search for scorpions and owls and learn what they do at night.
