Another busy week throughout the county and Valentine’s Day on Thursday!
We start the week with cooler temperatures, but it should start to warm up as Wednesday rolls around.
According to The Weather Channel, Pioche will see highs barely reaching 30 degrees Monday but will rise to the high 40s by Sunday.
In the Pahranagat Valley, look for temps to be in the mid-4os on Monday and climb in to the low 60s by Sunday.
Little precipitation is expected in any of our communities this week.
The Lincoln County School District board meeting will be held Thursday at 6:30 p.m. in the district office. You can visit lcsdnv.com to the view the agenda.
Wrestling seasons is completed. Congratulations to all of our wrestlers on a great season.
This weekend, the county’s high school basketball teams will be in Las Vegas for regionals.
The PVHS girls will start things off Friday, 3:00 p.m. at Chaparral High School. Their opponent is yet to be determined.
The LCHS girls will play Needles, 3:30 p.m. at Sunrise Mountain High School.
The LCHS boys will also be at Sunrise Mountain High School to play The Meadows at 5:15 p.m.
The PVHS boys will play at 8:00 p.m. at Chaparral. Their opponent is also TBD.

The Lincoln County Power District will hold a meeting Monday at 9 a.m. at the district office in Caselton.
The Pioche Chamber of Commerce will meet Tuesday at noon at the Silver Cafe.
The Pioche town board meeting will be Wednesday from 3 p.m. to 5 p.m. at the Pioche Town Hall.
Also on Wednesday, the Lincoln County TV District board meeting will be held at 5 p.m. in Pioche.
