What a great weekend of state basketball. ?Congrats to all the teams on fantastic seasons, and congratulations to the LCHS and PVHS boys teams on bringing home state titles.

Weather
It will warm up as the week progresses. ?There is little chance of precipitation.
Pioche can expect highs in the low 40s until Thursday when it begins to warm up. ?By Sunday, highs should be in the mid 5os.
Caliente and Panaca should see highs in the low 50s to start the week and then it will gradually warm up to the mid 60s by Sunday!
Pahranagat Valley will see a similar pattern, with high temps a few degrees higher than Caliente and Panaca.
Schools
PVHS physics students are taking a trip to Disneyland on Thursday. ?The same day, PVHS will be havings its annual blood drive from 3 to 7 p.m. at the elementary school multipurpose room.
Also on Thursday, there will be an elementary school spelling bee contest in Panaca at 5 p.m.
On Saturday, PVHS will be having its senior/junior prom.
Seniors
On Thursday, the Pahranagat Valley Senior Center will be having a potluck at 6 p.m.

Healthcare
The Public Health Nurse has days scheduled in all communities throughout the month.?Check the calendar on the?LCCentral.com homepage?to view when the nurse will be in your area.
Also, an EMT basics class will be held from 8 a.m. to 9 a.m. in Caliente on Saturday.
