Pioche will start the week with a temperature in the low 60s and a 30% chance of rain on Monday. It will be partly cloudy for most of the week with temps in the high 60s starting Wednesday, and wind speeds between 8 and 11 mph.
Pahranagat Valley can expect to have lows in the high 40s, and a warm week starting off in the high 60s and getting up in the high 70s by Wednesday. It will be partly cloudy with wind speeds between 5 and 10 mph.
Teachers and students will head back to school today.
Tuesday, PVHS Baseball and Softball will be playing Beaver Dam with games starting at 1:00 p.m. PVHS will also have a track meet at Moapa Valley at 3:30 p.m. on that same day.
On Thursday, LCHS Baseball and Softball will be playing Whitepine in Lincoln at 1:00 p.m. Later that day PVHS Baseball and Softball will be playing at Sunrise Mountain at 4:00 p.m.
Friday, LCHS Softball will be playing Mountain View at 1:00 p.m. At 3:00 p.m., PVHS Track will be at The Ron Resler Invitational in Boulder City.
The Lincoln County Commissioner meeting will be today starting at 9 a.m. in the Commissioners Room at the Lincoln County Court House in Pioche.
Tuesday, the commissioners budget workshop will be held in the Commissioners Room starting at 8:30 a.m.
Also on Tuesday, the Caliente City Council will have a budget meeting at City Hall starting at 5 p.m.
On Wednesday, the Caliente Planning Commission will meet at City Hall beginning at 6:30 p.m.
On Thursday, the Caliente City Council will meet at 6 p.m. in the City Hall.
Tuesday and Thursday, the Pahranagat Valley Senior Center will have their Senior Center Exercise Classes at 9 a.m.
The Caliente Senior Center will have a several activities throughout the week including: Pinochle on Monday at 2:00 p.m., Friday Crafters at 6 p.m., and a Bingo Potluck on Sunday at 12:30 p.m.

Thursday, the American Legion Alamo Post #17 will have it’s meeting at 1:30 p.m.

The Pahranagat Valley Library will be having story time on Wednesday at 3 p.m.
