It looks like another busy week for Lincoln County. ?Let’s see what this week will bring.

Weather

Pioche?is expected to start the week with a 50% chance of rain and wind speeds up to 22 mph. ?Temperatures should reach the mid 60s by Wednesday and lower wind speeds from 6 to 15 mph.

Caliente and Panaca?has a 30% chance of rain on Monday and Tuesday with partly cloudy skies and high wind speeds up to 23 mph. ?Temperatures should reach lows in the mid 40s by Wednesday, but should warm up with clear sunny skies and highs in the 70s for the rest of the week.

Pahranagat Valley?should start the week with temps in the low 60s with wind speeds up to 25 mph. ?Temperatures should warm up to high 60s by Wednesday, and reach the high 70s with lots of sunshine and breezes between 4 and 14 mph.

Schools

Tuesday, PVHS Baseball and Softball will be playing Indian Springs starting at 2 p.m.

On Wednesday, the FFA Livestock Judging Contest will be held.

On Thursday, The Lincoln County Spelling Bee, for grades 1 through 4, will be held at Matthews Center in Panaca starting at 12:30 p.m.

Friday, both LCHS and PVHS Track Teams will be be at the Richard Lewis Invitational ?held in Overton.

Also on Friday, ?LCHS Baseball and Softball will be playing Meadows at 1 p.m.

Government

On Monday, the Room and Tax Board Meeting will be held in the?PV Fire District Board Meeting Room Ambulance Barn at 4:30 p.m.

Tuesday, the Pioche Town Board Meeting will be held in Pioche Town Hall starting at 3 p.m.

Also on Tuesday, ?the Alamo Power District will have their Board Meeting beginning at 5:30 p.m., The?PV Fire District Board Meeting will be held in the Alamo Ambulance Barn .

Seniors

Tuesday and Thursday,?the Pahranagat Valley Senior Center will have their Senior Center Exercise Classes at 9 a.m.

On Wednesday, The Olson’s Senior Center Committee will be meeting at 1:30 p.m.

The Caliente Senior Center will have a several activities throughout the week including: Pinochle on Monday at 2:00 p.m., Friday Crafters at 6 p.m., Poker on Saturday at 6:00p.m. and a Bingo Potluck on Sunday at 12:30 p.m.
