It?s the time of year to get your bedding plants, fresh vegetables, fruit, herbs, and other farm-related goodies at the farmer?s markets in Caliente and Pioche.
The Caliente Market will be on Thursdays, under the canopy at 360 Lincoln Street. ?The Caliente market will run from 3 p.m. to 6 p.m. during the school year, so parents can pick up quality produce when they pick up their children at school. ?Summer hours for the Caliente market will be from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m.
The Pioche market will run on Saturdays from 10 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. in front of the Historic Pioche School. ?If you want to be a vendor at the markets, the fee will be $5 per market to cover the costs of insurance and marketing. ?If you have any questions about the market, call James Gatzke ?for more information.
