Work on the municipal pool at the park in Caliente is on hold at present while the plans are being reviewed for approval by the state agencies dealing with pools, said Caliente City Councilman Tom Acklin.

He said work on the building is continuing by Wilkin Trucking. ?The roof insulations have just been completed and will soon start the brickwork.?

The Caliente City Council had hoped the pool would have been ready by July 1, but delays have pushed things back considerably and Acklin thought it might be later into August before the pool would be finished and ready for use, ?even if only for a short time.?

Just a big hole exists at present where the pool will be built.
