Lincoln County Sheriff’s Department reported a one-vehicle rollover accident the morning of June 30 killed a young man from St. George.
The accident was reported at 9:21 a.m. on the Beaver Dam Road about two miles west of the windmill, just before the Barclay turnoff.
Walter Lane Burgess, 19, of St. George, Utah, was pronounced dead on the scene when his pickup truck overturned on the dirt road. Burgess was ejected from the vehicle. The cause of the accident is under investigation
Burgess was the nephew of Gary and Roxie Wade of Alamo and Kelly and Dawn Wade of Hiko.
