Grand Marshalls in the Alamo 4th of July parade were Dell and Marva Sullivan. They led the parade riding in a 1939 Cadillac LaSalle driven by Robert Foisy.

Winners in the parade were first place $100 to the Pearson and Smallwood family; second place, $50, the LDS Church Primary; and third place, $25, was clown Linda Looney.

Following the usual afternoon activities at the LDS church park, the annual fireworks display was held at dark.

A new event was held this year at the rodeo grounds: Mutton busting. Kids doing their best to ride a sheep bareback. A good crowd turned out to watch all the contestants.
