Budgeted fund transfers approved
County Commissioners during the June 17 regular meeting approved the transfer certain funds from one account to another as budgeted. $10,000 from the Fair and Recreation Board to the Fair Board Fund, $53,319 from the Federal In-lieu Tax Special Revenue Fund to the Building Department Enterprise Fund, and $40,000 from the Federal In-lieu Tax Special Revenue Fund to the Senior Nutrition Fund.
Dixon on planning commission board
Retired Lincoln County Building Department Director Ken Dixon has been appointed as an At Large board member to the Lincoln County Planning Commission.
Nuclear Oversight Program continues contracts
Four contracts with the Lincoln County Nuclear Oversight Program were approved by the County Commissioners on as needed bases with Jason Pitts and Core Geo Data, Vaughn Higbee, Dr. Mike Baughman of Intertech Services.
Grant award signed
A signing of the Notice of Grant award documentation from the Department of Health and Human Services Aging and Disability Services Division for the Transportation service has been approved in the amount of $27,397.
Change order approved for Caliente pool and park
A change order was signed by Grants Administrator Elaine Zimmerman for Jim Wilkin Trucking not to exceed $10,000 on the Caliente Pool and Park Phase II Improvement project.
Grants approved by commissioners
• Grants from the Community Block Development Grant, and the Governor’s Office of Economic Development were approved by County Commissioners July 15.
• The CBDG grant for 2014 is for $42,515, and the Economic Development grant is for $65,000 for the Alamo General Improvement District Water Plan
