Ronald Glover Rose was born Aug. 22, 1930 to Harry Glover and Ada Patterson Rose in Beaver, Utah.
Ron was raised and went to school in Lincoln County, Nev. He married Elaine Blad and had two children: Kerry Lynn, and Rick. They were later divorced.
Ron moved to Milford in the spring of 1958 and met the love of his life Sally Killam. They were married Dec. 2, 1958.
They made their home in Milford where he continued his career in retail grocery for the grocery stores in Milford. After his retirement there, he spent a couple of years working for Circle 4 Farms delivering product.
Ron devoted his life to his loving wife and children: Kerry Lynn Rose; Rick (Kathy) Rose, Milford; Debra Jo Rose, Pensacola Fla.; Chellie (Dale) Craw, Minersville; Russell (Melissa) Rose, Milford; Rod Rose, Milford; Randie Rose, Milford; Roger (Marie) Rose, Milford; Robb Rose, Milford.
Ron was preceded in death by his parents, daughter Kerry Lynn, granddaughter Jessica Jo Jury, and great-great grandson Joey Perrone.
He leaves a legacy of five generations and 167 family members.
Viewing was held Thursday, July 25, from 6 to 8 p.m. at the Southern Utah Mortuary in Milford. Viewing was from Noon to 1:30 p.m. at the Milford LDS Chapel on Friday and the funeral at 2 p.m. Interment was at the Milford City Cemetery, all under the direction of Southern Utah Mortuary.
