Richard Owen Bywater
Richard Owen Bywater was born Nov. 17, 1972 to Gary and Beverly Bywater, in Las Vegas, Nev., and passed away on Sept. 16 in Caliente, Nev. Richie was the youngest of three children.
When he was younger Richie played the saxophone and wrestled in school. He loved to joke around, playing pranks on his siblings. Richie was always tinkering with objects, taking them apart and putting them back together.
Richie lived in Colorado when he was younger and moved to Pioche, Nev. in 1982. He moved to California in 1985 and lived in Cypress, Calif. with his Aunt Barbara until 1988. Richie moved to Caliente where he met Faith Alicia Eyraud. Richie and Faith had their first child, Alexandrea in 1991. On Oct. 26, 1991 Richie married Faith, his high school sweetheart. Following that Richie went on to get his GED. Richie and Faith had their second child Deborah Jo in 1993. Richie and Faith moved to Las Vegas, where he worked as an electrician.
He worked for various construction companies in Vegas until Richie and his family moved back to Caliente in 2004. He started working for Vincent Construction where he worked for about five years. He spent a lot of time with his family, enjoyed fishing, and going trapping in the winter, something he learned from his Father-in-Law, John Eyraud. Richie looked up to John, seeing him as a father in many ways.
Richie was a great friend, many people knew him and enjoyed being around him. Everyone who knew Richie knew that he loved his family, and was extremely proud of both of his daughters. Richie loved Faith, his wife of 21 years, more than life. He was a wonderful son, and amazing husband and father.
