Janet Louise Harris Clark was born on Dec. 29, 1950 in Panaca, Nev. She passed away on Nov. 21 after a 22-year battle against cancer. Janet was preceded in death by her parents Stanley and Elma Harris, and sister Betty Cooley. Janet is survived by her husband Butch Clark; children Justin (Tammy) Clark, April (Chip) McIntyre, Josh Clark, Chris Clark; six grandchildren; her brothers Charles (Judy) Harris, and Richard (Debbie) Harris; her sisters Lorna White, Naomi Melling, and Patty (Kevin) Warren; 27 nieces and nephews; and best friend of 43 yrs Jean Rogari.
After growing up in small town Nevada, Janet held an impressive career with the FBI for 36 years. She worked in multiple offices including foreign embassies and headquarters in Washington D.C. at which time she lived and worked in Las Vegas, Los Angeles, Rome, Virginia and Austria, becoming a world class traveler. Upon retirement Janet relocated, one last time, to small town Round Mountain, where she was surrounded by family and friends.
Janet was a strong elegant woman who will be remembered for her faith, quick wit, and sincere passion for life. May we all be as courageous to live. The family would like to thank the LDS church, RMGC, RMGC employees and all of the members of the community, who have helped Janet and her family during this difficult time.
Services were held in Round Mountain, Nev. on Nov. 26, with burial following in the Panaca Cemetery.
