Jody Lillie Emery, beloved wife, mother, daughter and sister, was called home by the Lord peacefully at her home in Rapid City, S.D. on Nov. 23, due to complications of surgery.

Jody was born in Salt Lake City, Utah Feb. 24, 1962 to Thomas G. and Mary ?Grace? Lillie. She graduated from Hillcrest High School in 1980 and married her loving husband Glenn Emery on March 5, 1981. She is survived by her husband Glenn; sons Dustin and Thomas (TG); granddaughters Jenna and Jalee; parents Thomas G. Lillie and Mary Grace Lillie; sisters Jena Eby, Jolene Erickson (Steve) and Lesa McSwain (Ashley); mother-in-law Taffy; sister-in-law Leilani Holmquist (Ray); brother-in-law J.D. Emery (Shanna); and many nieces, nephews and friends. She was preceded in death by grandparents Poppy and Nan.

Jody was a very hard worker and always excelled at any position she held. Jody loved to watch football, especially the Green Bay Packers and she cherished the time spent with her family, especially her granddaughters.

A viewing will be held Friday, Nov. 29 from 6 to 8 p.m. at Southern Nevada Mortuary (Caliente, Nev.). Funeral Services will be Saturday, Nov. 30 11 a.m. to Noon at Berean Baptist Church in Pioche, Nev. Interment to follow at Pioche Cemetery.
