Two girls who have known each other since Kindergarten, gone all through school together, played on the same teams all during their middle school and high school careers, have been named Co-Most Valuable Volleyball Players in the Nevada Interscholastic Athletic Association Division IV All-Southern League.
Seniors Traci Strong and Bailee Hosier were named, and along with senior classmates Kennedy Huntsman and Cheyenne Harris, led the Pahranagat Valley girls to another league championship and regained the state championship with a win in the finals over Smith Valley.
Huntsman and Brook Higbee were also named to the First Team, with Jamie Hansen on Second Team.
In Division III, two Lincoln County girls made the All-Star selections. Kayla Mathews on First Team, and Chelsea Lloyd on Second Team.
Lincoln finished third in the league, took second in the league tournament, but was eliminated in the state semifinals by eventual champion Yerington.
