Bruce Austin Condie

Bruce Austin Condie, age 83, passed away on Feb. 11 at his home in Ursine, Nev. He was born on June 20, 1930 in Pioche, Nev. to Ivan Jones and Rose Marie Austin Condie. He married Marilyn Alice Etchart January 14, 1957.

Bruce graduated from the University Of Nevada Mackey School Of Mines. He served in the United States Army during the Korean War. He enjoyed mining and prospecting, hunting and fishing, working on his property in Miller Canyon. He enjoyed traveling the back roads of Nevada.

He is survived by his children Leslie (Phil) Boucher, Laurie Cole and John (Mara) Condie, all of Pioche, Nev.; his sisters Rose Marie Delmue, Clara Nell Gratto, Annie Lee Schenk and Marva Jean Boteler; his grandchildren Jeremy, Alyson, Alan Austin, Landon, Cydney and Bruce J.; along with seven great-grandchildren.

He is preceded in death by his wife Marilyn, his son Bruce Alan, his brother Robert (Bob) and sister Edith Rae.

A graveside service was held on Saturday, Feb. 15 at 1 p.m. at the Pioche Oddfellows Cemetery in Pioche, Nev. under the direction of the Southern Nevada Mortuary.
