Elaine Denton Eardensohn

Caliente native, Elaine Denton Eardensohn, 89, passed away on Sunday morning, March 9, at her home in Omaha, Neb. following a brief illness.

Elaine was born to the late J. Less and Hazel F. Denton, in Caliente on March 28, 1924. She attended Caliente Elementary School and graduated in 1942 from Lincoln County High School. She married William A. (Bill) Eardensohn on Nov. 19, 1943. She and Bill had three sons. Elaine lived most of her years in Las Vegas. In retirement, she also lived in Youngtown, Ariz.; Fort Smith, Ark.; and Omaha.

She was pre-deceased by both of her parents and all three siblings, Lester, Mildred, and Bernice as well as her husband, Bill. She is survived by all three of her sons, William and Randy of Omaha, Neb. and Robert of Petersburg, Ill.; nine grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.

Her remains will be interred beside her late husband at Palm Valley View Memorial Park in Las Vegas.
