Wylee Mitchell, 9, of Pioche, is gearing up for her 2014 rodeo raffle, with all proceeds going towards getting her to the National Little Britches Rodeo held in Pueblo, Colo. The NLBRA finals will be July 21-26.

Last year Wylee ended up Reserve World Champion Flag Racer, and came in fourth place in pole bending. She also took third in the All-Around standings. Her 2013 year was very successful; she feels that she could not have done it without the support of everyone.

Wylee has been active in raising money for her trip. She has been making bracelets to sell to make a little money. Many have contributed prizes and donations for her cause. This year’s raffle will take place July 11, once again at the Pioche Town Park.

Among some of the prizes being raffled are a custom-made hat by Wylee’s father, Chaz Mitchell, rifles, gift cards, hunting packages, and much more.
