Meril ?Van? William Van Dusen, Jr., passed away July 7 at his home in Pioche, Nev. He was born in Sterling, Ill., September 5, 1937.

Van retired from the United States Air Force in 1975. He is survived by his wife, Dee, ten children, several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by two sons.

Graveside services will be held July 10, 2014 at 1 p.m. at the Masonic Cemetery in Pioche.

The St. John Masonic Lodge will perform a Masonic funeral service on Saturday, July 12 at Noon. Friends, family and public are welcome.

  1. I am saddened to hear the passing of Van..He was just the best when I lived there.. He and his wife Dee, where always there for help, support and lots of laughs..He was a good honest all around guy.. God Bless, you Van.. Dee, my heart hurts for you.. My condolences to you and your family..
