Carolyn Roberts Wilcox passed away peacefully on Jan. 17 in the Grover C. Dils Medical Center. She was 70.

Carolyn graduated from Milford High School in 1963. She attended nursing school in Ogden, Utah and married Gary Underhill in 1965. She returned to Caliente to help her grandparents, Paul and Kathryn Roberts in their later years.

Carolyn married Walter Wilcox in 1988. She became the librarian at the Caliente public library. She traveled back and forth to Las Vegas to obtain her Library of Science degree from UNLV. The patrons and children loved Carolyn?s enthusiasm for life. She retired after 30 years of devotion and faithful service.

Carolyn is preceded in death by her father, James Bill Roberts. She is survived by her husband, Walter Wilcox; mother, Dorothy N. Roberts both of Caliente; brother, Paul (Iris) Roberts of California, Md.; and sister, Sue Roberts of Lincoln, Neb.

Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. on Friday, Jan. 23 at the Caliente Catholic Church. A viewing will be held from 12:30 to 1:30 p.m. at the church.
