Lincoln County kept hold of third place in the Southern Division III race with home wins in their final games of the season on the home court.
Against Lake Mead on Friday, McClain O?Connor and Derek Shumway each scored 14 points to lead the Lynx 61-26 by the Eagles.
Mike Wood added 10 points for Lincoln County, which led 32-13 at halftime.
Trey Vetter led Lake Mead (4-18, 2-9) with six points.
They followed up on Saturday night with a low scoring 40-29 win over Mountain View.
O?Connor led the way for the Lynx (9-11, 8-3) with 19 points. Derek Shumway added nine points for Lincoln County, which led 21-7 at the half. Neither team could score much at all in the first half, accounting for the low halftime tally.
The third quarter was nearly as bad as the first two. Mountain View (12-11, 6-5) scored five points, and Lincoln scored two. Then both came to life and each scored 17 points in the final period.
At the foul line, Mountain View was 7-for-18 (39 percent), and Lincoln was 15-for-22 (68 percent).
Connor LeBoeuf paced Mountain View with 15 points. The Saints had beaten Lincoln earlier in the season, and this win put the Lynx one game up in the standings on the Saints.
Along with the girls, the boys play their final five games on the road, at Calvary (7-8, 5-5) and second place The Meadows (13-4, 9-1) this weekend, followed by later trips to Needles (13-6, 6-5), Laughlin (3-16, 0-11) and unbeaten league leader and defending state Division III champion Agassi Prep (17-0, 11-0).
