Kaitlyn Jordan, born Jan. 19, 1999 to Lindsey Harvey in Las Vegas, was a Sophomore at Challis Jr/Sr High School. Kaitlyn loved basketball and spending time with her family and friends in activities such as hunting, camping, cheerleading, dancing, music and riding atvs. Kaitlyn especially enjoyed activities that involved her brother Matthew, her sister Ashley and her two best friends Justin and Shawna. She loved to go shooting and hunting with her mother. Kaitlyn just recently began snowboarding as well as drawing and she would spend many hours listening to music while drawing.
Kaitlyn?s smile could and did light up a room and her heart was full of love and care for all. She was loved by all her classmates and teammates as she had a way of touching the hearts of each and every person she ever met.
Her beautiful blue eyes, heartwarming smile and loving spirit will be forever missed by all.
Kaitlyn was granted her angel wings on Feb. 6 in Challis, Idaho due to a fatal car accident.
She is preceded in death by her great grandfathers Henry Behm and Lowell Howe; her great-grandmother Shirley Howe; and great-uncle Dennis Howe. She is survived by her mother Lindsey Harvey; sisters Ashley and Meagan, and her brother Matthew; her great-grandmother Bernita Behm; her grandparents David and Michele Highbe, John Howe; uncles Jonathan Howe-Harvey, Philip (Daisy) and Nicholas Harvey, George (Brandi) Howe and Culen Highbe; aunts Jennifer(Gary) Montgomery and Brittany Powell; cousins Jade Harvey and Wyatt Montgomery and several great-aunts, uncles, and cousins.
A Celebration of Life was held Feb. 10 at the Challis Jr/Sr High School at 5:30 p.m. The family of Kaitlyn would like to thank the community of Challis, and all others for their kind support and generous contributions.
A Memorial fund has been set up at Wells Fargo under Kaitlyn Jordan Ames to help support the family.
