Pahranagat Valley lost a tight one-run game on Tuesday this week at Mountain View.

A two out triple in the bottom of the sixth inning by Savannah Alley drove in Tayah De’Bouck with the eventual winning run as the Saints edged the Panthers 7-6. PVHS was unable to score in their half of the seventh inning.

Alley, who went 2-for-3 with two RBIs, tossed a three-hitter and struck out six.

The Alamo girls (4-3) have a few more road games, with the only home game being with Lincoln County April 14.

In the meantime, they play at Virgin Valley this Friday and at Lincoln County on Tuesday, then host the Lynx in Alamo April 14. The Panthers girls will start league play at Beaver Dam April 17.

Coach Mike Sparrow was not available later for comment on the Mountain View game.
