A middle of the week track meet, Wednesday April 8, had Pahranagat Valley as the only Division IV school against several Division 1-A teams at the Moapa Valley Weekday meet in Overton.

David Ingram ran 12.81 in the 100 meters, and 26.53 in the 200 meters, as well as 15-9? in the long jump. Brent Thatcher was 30.78 in the 200 meters, 7:34.26 in the 1600 meters, and 12-10? in the long jump. Oscar Heredia was 2:19.9 in the 800 meters, 5:40.06 in the 1600 meters, and 14-11 in the long jump. Matthew Prince was 2:28.33 in the 800 meters, 5:43.21 in the 1600 meters, 12:16.37 in the 3200 meters, Danny Heredia was 5:53.25 in the 1600 meters, 12:15.51 in the 3200 meters. Pahranagat boys ran 1:48.96 in the 4×200 relay.

In the girls meet, Jessica Harrington was 31.95 in the 200 meters, 1:12.52 in the 400 meters, 12-3? in the long jump. Shayla Leavitt was 2:51.89 in the 800 meters, 6:30.16 in the 1600 meters, and 11-11 in the long jump.

Pahranagat Valley will be at the Carson Invitational in Carson City on Saturday. Meanwhile, Lincoln County takes part today at the meet at Arbor View High in Las Vegas.
