David Allen Beckstrand passed away April 19, 2015 in a tragic car accident. David was born in Hawthorne, NV on Sept. 19, 1974, the fourth son Kraig and Diane Beckstrand. Shortly after his birth his family moved to Las Vegas, NV, where he lived until he was seven. The family then moved Panaca, NV.

David graduated with honors from Lincoln County High School. Upon graduation, David moved to San Jose, CA to live with his grandfather. It was there that he met his best friend and future wife, Jennifer Phillips. They were married on July 26, 1997. They had two children before moving back to Las Vegas. David was an avid sports fan, loved Star Wars, music and animals. The past twelve years, David has dedicated his time to his family. He stayed home to take care of his four children. All of his time and energy was placed into raising his kids. David?s greatest desire was for his children to succeed. They will forever be his lasting legacy. David is survived by his wife Jen, his four children Whitney, Ryan, Allie and Kyle, his five parents, five siblings, and nineteen nieces and nephews. David was a wonderful husband, father, brother, son and friend. The family would like to thank everyone for the outpouring of support received in the form of calls, emails, text, prayers, time and monetary contribution.

We have been greatly blessed by many people, and appreciate it very much. David will greatly missed.
