Dear Editor,
I came to stay with a friend and help him after his wife passed. We did much work packing, giving away things and many trips to the dump. Once we cleared the house though it was time for new flooring, etc.
What I want to tell you about is the young women and young men who helped us when in need (you know who you are). They worked without a thought of payment, or anything for that matter, from us. The attitude was selfless and I witnessed mankind at its best to the point of tears of joy. They left not even knowing their rarity.
This may sound simplistic to you, but this act of charity still has my heart singing, as I?ve never been a witness to such behavior.
Blessings, love, honor and respect to these people in none other than Panaca.
Thank you,
Hunter
