Join a park ranger to learn about one of the most adaptive predatory arthropods, the scorpion. An informational presentation will be followed by a short walk to spot scorpions in their native habitat using UV lights. Please bring water, a flashlight and wear closed toed shoes. The hike may be cancelled due to inclement weather.

WHEN: Saturday Sept. 26, 7:45 p.m. to 8:45 p.m.

WHERE: Echo Canyon State Park campground amphitheater. Located 12 miles southeast of Pioche on Echo Dam road. Follow the signs from state route 322.

COST: Event is free. Park entrance fees do apply to non-campers. Entrance fees are $7 per vehicle, Nevada residents receive a $2 discount.
