Raffle items at this year’s Christmas Fair at Caliente Elementary. Proceeds from the event went to the school.

The Christmas Fair at the Caliente Elementary gym was full of beautiful crafts and delicious treats.

The event had breads, cookies and a make-your-own ice cream kit. There was jewelry made by Lisa Lumus and her mother Sandra Barton. Teva Avery was there with Essential Oils from doTERRA. Tasty food on hand included homemade potato chowder, cream of broccoli and chicken with wild rice soups. There were beautiful knitted scarves and hats, clothes and homemade vinegar dressing and many more items.

All of the proceeds from booth rentals and from raffle tickets sold were donated to the elementary, and the sales from the cookies, cupcakes and breads were donated to the school as well. Some of the items up for the raffle included a metal drink container, knitted pot holders, knitted “minion” hats from the movie “Despicable Me,” board games, chocolates and a cook book.
