Kershaw-Ryan State Park held their annual Winter Wonderland and Toy Drive on Saturday.

This was the seventh year for this event. The park was adorned with Christmas lights and holiday décor adding a special charm to the already beautiful park. The park had a covering of snow, and it was an especially cold evening, but hot cocoa and campfires kept everyone toasty. Staff cooked dutch oven cobbler as a refreshment as well.

An entrance to the park was granted with a donation of a toy to the toy drive, and with the combination of Toys for Tots, the event was able to collect many Christmas gifts for needy families. Of course a Winter Wonderland wouldn’t be complete without Santa, and he was present the entire evening for every child’s delight.
