Kobe Walker hit a big three to take a late lead, and the Lincoln County High School boys basketball team defeated Lake Mead in Henderson on Friday 39-36. “It was a good win for us,” coach Matt Cameron said. Walker led the Lynx with 13 points and Samuel Anderson added 11. Shay Rutledge had 19 points for Lake Mead.

On Saturday, the Lynx played at Mountain View and lost 70-39. “We struggled against the pressure,” Cameron said. “And struggled offensively.”

Brady Lawrence led the Lynx with 10 points.

Mountain View is second in the Division III Southern League, with a 14-6 overall record and 10-2 in league play. The Meadows are in first – 17-1 overall and 9-0 in the league.

The Lynx (3-17, 2-8) are in 7th place. They are at Calvary Chapel (10-10, 5-4) tonight for a 7 p.m. matchup and play at The Meadows Saturday at 3 p.m.
