The Lincoln County High School girls basketball team has won 10 straight games and remains undefeated in league play.

The Lady Lynx routed both Calvary Chapel and The Meadows last weekend. On Friday, they defeated Calvary by a score of 52-28. Easton Tingey had 19 points, six rebounds, three steals and an assist for Lincoln. The team was actually down at the end of the first quarter, 11-8, but then outscored Calvary 24-7 in the second quarter and cruised the rest of the way.

The next day the girls defeated The Meadows 48-14. Savannah Harr led the way with 13 points, four steals, two rebounds and an assist. Hannah Hafen had 10 points, one steal and one assist and Tingey had nine points, three rebounds and a steal.

Lincoln is an impressive 20-2 overall and 12-0 in the Division III Southern League. Two important games are scheduled for this weekend against two teams with winning records and playoff aspirations. The team hosts second place Needles (16-6, 11-2) tonight at 6 p.m. and plays Laughlin (10-7, 7-5) tomorrow at 1:30 p.m. in Panaca. The top four teams in the league move on to the league tournament February 19-20 in Las Vegas.
