
Ellecia Page Slone, age 65, departed?this life in her home on April 16, 2016.?Ellecia was born?in Alice, Texas?on November 30,?1950 to Elliott and?Virginia Powers.?Ellecia lived most?of her youth in?Phoenix, Arizona?where she graduated from West?High School in?1969.
Ellecia also graduated from The Las?Vegas Interior Design Institute as Valedictorian in 1990. She worked for many?years in the construction industry as an?Office Manager, Purchasing Agent, and?Interior Designer.
Ellecia lived in Las Vegas for about?30 years then moved to Alamo Nevada?in 2001. In Alamo she was the Owner?of Scoops Ice Cream Parlor from 2012-2014. Ellecia was the President of the?Alamo Senior Center and a member of?The Red Hats.
Ellecia is survived by her husband?Dominique Slone, her son Scott Furney,?her daughter Summer Pearce, and her?granddaughters Kaylee Pearce and Abigail Pearce.
Ellecia was an amazing women that?cared for everyone. She will be missed?and loved always. Ellecia?s family would?like to thank the Alamo community for?all their support and love and they also?wish to express their gratitude to Traci?Poulson and the staff at Comfort Care?Hospice for being there and making Ellecia so comfortable in her last days.
