Milo Russell Miller, 84, of Caliente, Nevada, was overwhelmed from cancer at?GCD Medical Center with is son by his?side on April 27, 2016.

Milo is survived by his wife, Shirley of?62 years, and his son Ricky, and grandchildren Jessica and Kyle. Milo was a?caring father, loving husband and was a?friend to all.

Milo served in?the US Air Force?for 28 years as?an electronics?Specialist and?Supervisor and?another 10 years?as an Electronics?Technician for?the Clark County?School District.?He dedicated his?retirement time to the Caliente VFW. He?was proud and honored to have served?as a contributing member of the military and the VFW. Most of the Caliente?community will remember him for his?compassion to help others and lending a?helping hand.

A special thank you to the hospital staff,?VFW, and Caliente, as a whole, for comforting and caring for Milo and Shirley.

Visitation will be from 9:30 until 10:30?a.m. at Southern Nevada Mortuary,?Caliente, on Monday, May 9. Funeral?Services for Milo will be held at the Conway VFW Cemetery at 11 a.m. under the?direction of Southern Nevada Mortuary.?A celebration of life gathering will be?held at the Caliente VFW directly after?services. Memorial donations may be?made to the Caliente Senior Center. Online condolences can be made at www.southernnevadamortuary.com.
