Carlee Schmitz ran through Caliente to raise money for a great cause. She was part of a team of 18 runners from Los Angeles to New York. Each runner had to raise $10,000 dollars each for the cause.

Between sponsors and fundraisers, they make money for Multiple Sclerosis research. The funding goes to the National MS Society and the Center Without Walls. Each runner takes segments of the run on a daily basis.
