Erin Krug, 36, a former resident of Caliente and a 1999 graduate of Lincoln County High School, was honored by Microsoft at their 2016 Women of Achievement Luncheon May 26 in Reno.
Krug is the daughter of Patrick and Millie Fitzsimons of Caliente. She has an older sister Mary, of Ely and an older brother Sean, of Mesquite. All three are graduates of Lincoln County High School.
Microsoft honored Krug, Business Manager for America’s Operations Center, (Microsoft Reno), as their 2016 Woman of Achievement honoree.
Krug leads the Business Management Strategy and Planning for the America’s Operations Center for Microsoft and has been serving in different leadership capacities since 2011. Most recently she helped develop the operations team to enable software re-sellers transition to the cloud.
Krug is involved with developing youth through Junior Achievement , DigiGirlz and the High School Outreach program. She balances her success with Microsoft with her three children, Edisyn-7, Dylinger-4, and Dixon-2, and her supportive husband, Kyle. Krug and her family reside in Reno. She continues to take on challenges in her career with enthusiasm, professionalism and passion.
The Salute to Women of Achievement Luncheon, celebrating it’s 25th anniversary, is produced annually by the Nevada Women’s Fund. The event honors the most passionate, dedicated, confident, energetic and successful women in the northern Nevada community.
