Bushwackers Motorcycle Club hosted their annual MRAN race recently.

The Skip’s Hare Scramble featured a desert course at Wilkin’s Pit, about 8 miles north of Pioche, set up by the Bushwackers Club in the days prior to race. The event had four different races with entry levels for the tiniest of racers on 50cc bikes to adults/big bikes.

The big bikes race had about 60 competitors with Kyle Tichenor (AA Class) completing the three 25-mile loops first overall. The 85cc/65cc Expert race had 10 youth competitors with David Wilson (85cc Expert Class) coming in first overall. The 50cc/65cc Novice race had seven competitors with Matthew Venditti (65cc Novice Class) coming in first overall.

Each of the four races throughout the day had local competitors. The course was reported to be challenging but fun, and the weather was perfect for racers and spectators. Bushwackers hard work and effort to continually sponsor an annual local race is appreciated and always well-organized and fun for the community and those that travel to the event.
