The Lincoln County High School cross country team is competing at the Southern 1A-2A Regional Championships today. The team has had its eye on this meet all year and is looking to qualify as many as possible for the state championships on Nov. 5.

“These are great kids, and they have shown that they are willing to do the hard work required to outrun some of the tough teams we’ll face at regionals,” coach Lacie Pearson said.  “They are hungry, and that is a good thing.”
