Culen Highbe shared his experience as well. “It was new to me, there were a lot of people from all over the country. It was a really fun experience, and I hope we can go again next year.”

Chris Thornton said, “I wouldn’t trade it for anything.”

During the principal reports, Raymond Wadsworth spoke about the Meadow Valley Middle School. He gave the students a ballot to vote for president through the Newsela program. Wadsworth chuckled and said 100% of the middle school students voted for Donald Trump.

Dan McArthur gave the end of year financial report for the school district. He said, “The money you’re bringing in the door is coming out the door at the same rate.”

McArthur added, “I feel very comfortable with where you sit. I don’t see you in trouble. But I don’t see you sitting on a ton of money either.”
