The Pahranagat Valley High School track team competed at the Arbor View Invitational with fellow 1A schools Spring Mountain, Tonopah, 2A Lincoln County and a slew of 3A and 4A schools.

For the boys, Sophomore Garrett Bowen ran the best 1A 400 meters with a time 56.45 seconds, a personal record. Sophomore Logan Lee finished first among 1A contenders in the 1600 meters with a PR time of 5 minutes 51.23 seconds.

For the girls, senior Jessica Harrington beat her season best in the long jump with a distance of 12 feet 10.5 inches, which was the longest jump among 1A participants.

Today the team is at the Ron Resler Invitational in Boulder City.
