The Lincoln County High School baseball team played a non-league game against White Pine on Tuesday. Lincoln won, and had fun with it.

Senior Kevin Mathews started and ended the game and had a strong outing. Before the season,  Mathews said ‘’I don’t focus on the stats, I just go out and play my game.’’ He was definitely feeling it on Tuesday.

Things were clicking offensively for the Lynx, as the team cranked in fifteen runs in the game. Coach Raymond Wadsworth said, “The team as a whole swung the bat very well.’’

Lincoln is 10-2 overall and a perfect 6-0 in league play, right behind first place Laughlin (12-3, 7-0) in the Class 2A Southern League. Lincoln heads down to Calvary (5-9, 2-5) today for a doubleheader starting at 1 p.m. The team is home tomorrow to take on Lake Mead (7-5, 3-1) starting at noon.
